Country Music Black Friday / Holiday Buying Field Guide
If a song can change a life and music can change the world, I can’t think of a better gift to give your friends and family for Christmas than music. So Saving Country Music has been feverishly working our little fingers off frantically compiling all the great Black Friday / Cyber Saturday / Holiday Season deals on music and merch right here in one place, including some amazing exclusive issues from Record Store Day, and some ridiculous MP3 deals from Amazon.
As always, buying local and buying from the artist or directly from the label is best. But if not possible or if just too much of a pain, we ask you please use the Amazon portal located to the right to start all of your holiday shopping. It costs you nothing more, and a few bones are thrown back to Saving Country Music to help with expenses. And this goes for anything, not just music.

Wow, those “rarities” albums are real treasures. I’m especially looking forward to hearing the George Jones album, as George Jones is probably the best country singer of all time IMO.

I laughed out loud at the inclusion of Nickelback’s “The Long Road” on the list.
I actually own that album.
I actually… umm… like it.
Trigger’s probably gonna ban me for saying that, lol.
The list is pretty awesome though, I’m going to have to invest in several on the list to keep my collections of certain artists complete!

No, we respect all musical tastes around here, even if we don’t agree with them. Nickelback just makes an easy target.

Thanks for the amazon list– would have passed me by. I prefer vinyl to cd and cd to mp3, but I tend to prefer cheap to anything. JD McPherson rocks, BTW.

I gave a big fat WTF when I saw “Tompkins Square” thinking it said “Thompson Square” on the Lucinda Williams album.
