Lone Wolf & Lowebow Fest LIVE from the Cracker Swamp!

A couple big bits of news have just oozed out of the deep cracker swap of interior Florida like Jed Clampett’s bubblin’ crude.

The first is that up and coming one man band “Lone Wolf”, who was heard first right here on SCM LIVE during Reverend Nix’s “Mojo Medicine Show” has announced his debut album will be released on March 27th! His breakneck high mountain/low swamp banjo style is the type that gets the hair standing up on the back of your neck. As Bill Monroe used to say, that’s when you know it’s good! Rev. Nix’s film division “Cracker Swamp Productions” has just released an EPK for the album, which will have a release party with Hellbound Glory at Will’s Pub in Orlando on the 27th of March. Check this guy out, I have a feeling we’ll be hearing about him for years to come!

But before Lone Wolf is released on the world, Lowebow Fest (named for Johnny Lowebow, a cigar box guitar builder and performer) will also be going down in Orlando on the 19th of March, featuring Ben Prestage, Purgatory Hill, Hymn For Her, and of course the man himself, Johnny Lowebow.

Now you might be saying, “Damn, I’d love to see that, but I don’t live in the cracker swamp.” Well don’t fret my friends. Nothing replaces being there, but if you can’t be there live, Lowebow Fest will be broadcast in its entirety on SCM LIVE! Check out another Cracker Swamp promo video below:
