Fans of Willie Nelson continue to be concerned as the country music icon cancels additional shows due to an undisclosed illness, while no official word has come from the Willie Nelson camp to the nature or severity of Willie’s condition.

Willie Nelson canceled shows at the Venetian Theater in Las Vegas on January 27th and 28th due to illness, and then canceled Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday night shows (2-6 thru 2-8) at Buck Owens’ Crystal Palace in Bakersfield, California this week, with health being cited as the reason once again.

Now it has been announced Wednesday morning (2-8) that Willie has canceled shows at the Desert Diamond Casino in Sahuarita, AZ on Friday, February 10th, and the Route 66 Casino in Albuquerque, NM on Saturday, February 11th—shows scheduled on his way back from his current West Coast stint to Texas.

All the venues affected by the cancellations are looking to reschedule the dates, but no makeup dates have been provided yet. Refunds for ticket holders are available at the point of purchase.

***UPDATE: The Crystal Palace in Baksersfield has notified ticket holders that the Willie Nelson dates will NOT be rescheduled.

The canceled shows continue to be concerning for the 83-year-old performer. During the current illness bout, Willie Nelson did play scheduled shows at The Venetian in Las Vegas on February 1st, 3rd, and 4th, and also made a public appearance at a Las Vegas guitar shop on January 31st to promote his cannabis line. His next scheduled show is at the San Antonio Rodeo on February 16th, and according to local news outlets, Willie is still expected to make the show at the moment.

Saving Country Music has reached out to the Willie Nelson camp for more information about his illness, and has not received any additional information.

Last week, Willie Nelson announced his latest record, and his first record of original material in three years called God’s Problem Child to be released on on April 28th, the day before Willie turns 84.
