T Shirts You Will Never See in Country Music
Since music no longer holds any intrinsic value to the American consumer and they’d rather steal a song than have it be sold to them for less than a pack of gum, merch, MERCH is where all the money is now. Major labels manufacture merch in the textile industry’s version of puppy mills somewhere in southeast Asia, and then mark it up 700% at the arena concert you paid $185 from a scalper to get into. You can expect pilling fabric and peeling graphics after the 3rd wash, but that’s okay because 7 cents of each sale goes to the artist you love.
Here’s some country music T Shirts you won’t see for sale anytime soon.

I’ve always wanted to borrow a page from the Heavy Metal community and have a tee shirt printed with “DEATH TO FALSE COUNTRY”

Seeing as how I was a kid in the 70’s I’d wear the hell outta the JOHN FUCKING DENVER shirt. Also I have a six month old nephew named Waylon, he sucks.

John FUCKING Denver. That’s probably what Charley Pride thought to himself before he pulled out his lighter.

I might wear a “More Truck Songs” shirt, but in an ironic hipster kinda way. Maybe make it more sarcastic and add a “Please” on the end with several exclamation points.

Funny, funny, funny… 😀 For some reason, “AARP Members for Blake Shelton!” and “Mike Curb RULES!” made me laugh the hardest.

You can add all the Taylor Swift t-shirts worn by 10-15 year old girls (and the occasional 18 year old college freshman who has “Never Grow Up” playing on repeat on her iPod) to this list.

You’re free to say what you want, but why do you always have to be so negative? Why are you implying that Taylor Swift fans, who are normal, common people, people like anybody else, are immature? As if listening to Taylor Swift makes a person immature.
Maturity is not defined by one’s taste in music nor is music always a good reflection of one’s maturity/personal life. Regardless of what I think about Taylor Swift, I couldn’t help but find your comment offensive.

Would this fit on a shirt?
“Eric Church- I wear my sunglasses at night…and day, and award shows, concerts, videos…in fact I don’t ever take them off and I’m not sure why? I guess because I’m the CHEF, I mean I like The BOSS Springsteen. But my album is Chief. Still got my glasses on!”

Eh, there are other country singers that are hardly ever seen without shades in public. Hank Williams Jr., Ronnie Milsap (granted, he is blind, but they’re still very much a part of his public persona), David Allen Coe wears his pretty frequently, Ray Wylie Hubbard wears his quite a bit. Another figure who isn’t a musician, but is pretty familiar to most of the country and/or southern crowd who is almost never seen without them is Richard Petty.
There are plenty of things I’d pick on Eric Church for on any given day, but his shades aren’t really one of them.

Thanks for making my point. You listed icons, thus all the more reason Church needs to lay off the glasses.

By the way the Brantley Gilbert shirt is to big. It should only come in “one size fits X-small” And could read “Affliction- to horrible music. Now get in the octagon MoFo.”
