Ashley McBryde Marks Milestone By Selling Out Ryman Twice

It’s a rite of passage in country music, and a barometer of success. There are some other accolades that perhaps eclipse it like debuting on the Grand Ole Opry—something Ashley McBryde did back on June 16th, 2017, bringing tears to eyes and the crowd to their feet when she performed “Girl Goin’ Nowhere.” But playing the Mother Church of Country Music itself, and not just selling it out, but doing so on successive nights is quite a significant accomplishment itself.

Ashley McBryde announced a two-night Ryman Auditorium residency on August 26th and 27th as part of her “This Town Talks” tour and the dates have since sold out. So now they have added a 3rd date on August 28th to meet the demand. Lainey Wilson opens on August 26, Caylee Hammack on August 27th, and Caitlyn Smith will open the new show on Saturday, August 28th. The dates are part of her ongoing “This Town Talks” tour.

“There’s nothing better than performing at the Ryman except headlining, and there’s nothing better than headlining the Mother Church and selling it out…twice!”
says McBryde. “We’re so grateful to our fans who always show up for us so enthusiastically. We can’t thank you enough for giving us the opportunity to play one of the most sacred places in the world three nights in a row. They say good things come in threes, so we’ll be ready to shake it up even more on Saturday night!”

Some will get to attend these shows, and many won’t. But all Ashley McBryde fans should celebrate this achievement. She’s a “Girl Goin’ Nowhere” no more.

Tickets for the new Ryman show go on sale this Friday.
