Born & Raised Fest 2022 Offers INSANE Lineup

Even if you have to sell an internal organ to swing it, you still may want to consider how to get your ass to the Born & Raised Festival on September 16th, 17th, and 18th in Pryor, Oklahoma, just east of Tulsa in 2022. After experiencing the festival in 2021 on the updated and extensive Rocklahoma festival site, and seeing the lineup for this year, Born & Raised is quickly distinguishing itself as the Texas/Red Dirt-flavored independent country/Americana music festival of the year.

“This is the best festival I’ve ever been a part of,” Cody Jinks said last year closing the festival out.

Along with a stacked list of headliners including Zach Bryan, Cody Jinks, Jamie Lin Wilson, Mike and the Moonpies, Randy Rogers Band, Wade Bowen, AND Josh Abbott Band, the undercard is a who’s who of cool up-and-coming artists that you want to be on your radar, from Joshua Ray Walker, to Riddy Arman, to Saving Country Music Album of the Year winner Charles Wesley Godwin … I mean, you just keep going through this lineup and discovering new names you want to see.

This is a festival that’s done their homework for sure, also making sure to include some of the names that always seem to be overlooked for big festivals like this such as Whitey Morgan and Kendell Marvel, and even Nick Shoulders.

And yes, at this point, Lynyrd Skynyrd is basically a tribute act with only one original member left. But you know when they’re up there ripping through “Free Bird,” you’ll be jamming along. Seriously, can we just skip the summer and go straight to September?

Offering ample camping options and plenty of on-site amenities and upsells, if you only have one or two festivals you can go to each year, this is one you should definitely consider, especially since it’s not in a “destination” spot, which so often racks up the cost of everything. Right in the middle of Red Dirt country and the Midwest, it’s worth the trek to.

Presale passes will be available beginning Friday, May 6th at 8am Central Time with the public on-sale commencing Monday, May 9th at 10am Central Time. For more information and to register for early access, go to bornandraisedfestival.com .
