Born & Raised Fest Announces Loaded 2023 Lineup

Over the last few years, Born & Raised Fest in Pryor, Oklahoma has distinguished itself as one of the leading festivals in the independent country music space with an emphasis on the Texas and Red Dirt artists that were born and raised in the region. The 2023 installment will be no different, with a killer lineup of homegrown talent, along with some of the best country music performers from around the United States.

Expanding to three full days in 2023 for its 3rd Annual Festival along with a pre-party the day before, there will be plenty of music to take in from September 13th to the 16th. And unlike some independent country megafestivals, there are ample camping options and plenty of infrastructure since the event happens on the permanent site of Rocklahoma in northeast Oklahoma.

Headlining the 2023 event will be the Turnpike Troubadours, who are from just down the road in Talequah, Oklahoma. Whiskey Myers, Ryan Bingham, Randy Rogers Band, and Lukas Nelson are also some of the other names that make the large font, while Gary Allan and Randy Houser also make the cut as mainstream country artists who know how to keep it cool.

Also making the cut are the greatest country music band in the world, Mike and the Moonpies, along with 49 Winchester, Flatland Cavalry, Them Dirty Roses, and the Red Clay Strays—all bands that always get top accolades annually for being some of the best live bands to see.

Though you have to scroll down a bit to see them, luckily some deserving women also make the list, including Katilin Butts, Kat Hasty, Holly Beth, and Jamie Lin Wilson, who over the last few years has also been emceeing side stage acoustic shows with up-and-comers and headliners that have been some of the best Born & Raised experiences to take in.

In previous years, the festival has been a partnership with the massive promoter AEG Presents. But this year, the organizers have moved on, and have partnered to a greater extent with the folks that put on Mile 0 Fest in Key West. Though Born & Raised has always been a great time, hopefully this helps solve some of the silly logistical issues that some faced in previous years.

“There’s nothing quite like the feeling of being born and raised on the red dirt in this part of the country, and that’s exactly what our festival celebrates—the roots, the heritage, and the music that define us,” says Dave Geincke, who is the Founder and Vice-President, General Manager Pryor Creek Music Festivals.

Presale passes go on sale beginning Tuesday, March 28th at 12pm Central, with the public on-sale starting Friday, March 31st at 12pm Central. GA In The Meadow passes start at $169.00 with reserved seating at $259.99. Various VIP packages are also available. All 3-Day ticket types include access to the kick-off party on September 13th. Campgrounds open on Sunday, September 10th with GA camping available for $99 and VIP camping for $119. For more info, visit www.bornandraisedfestival.com .
