Chris Stapleton Releases New Tour Dates w/ Aubrie Sellers

After selling out all of his tour dates in February, playing to packed rooms in Europe in March, selling out every one of his dates in April, and most all of his dates sold to capacity this summer, Chris Stapleton has added some new tour dates in May and September to help keep up with demand. Many of the tickets will go on sale Friday, March 18th, and if history holds form, they will sell out immediately, or close to it.

Stapleton just wrapped up touring on the “C2C” Country To Country tour in the U.K. and Ireland where he was well received by the European crowd, and he’s also been announced as a performer at the 2016 ACM Awards on April 3rd where he is up for numerous awards, including Album of the Year, Male Vocalist of the Year, New Male Vocalist of the Year, and Song of the Year.

Meanwhile Stapleton’s debut album Traveller continues to retain its residency at the top of the country charts from the momentum that started nearly half a year ago when he won big at the CMA Awards. Traveller is regularly beating out the debut numbers from other mainstream artists. Only Joey + Rory’s new album Hymns was able to dethrone Stapleton recently, and Traveller is currently poised to be #1 in country once again next week. The run Stapleton has been on is going from astounding to historic, and if he has more big wins at the ACM’s, who knows when it will stop.
