Chris Stapleton, Willie Nelson, Jamey Johnson Show Rescheduled

One of the greatest individual country music tickets that you could find in 2020 was Chris Stapleton, Willie Nelson and Family, Jamey Johnson, and British country soul sensation Yola all playing on the same bill. The occasion was the grand opening of the new Globe Life Park retractable roof baseball stadium in Arlington, TX where the Texas Rangers baseball team will play this upcoming season. Of course, if that upcoming season ever happens.

Like everything else, the Chris/Willie/Jamey/Yola concert was postponed due to the Coronavirus. Originally scheduled to happen on March 14th, many were worried it wouldn’t happen at all now that it looks like we could be in for an elongated pause in everyday life. But luckily for titleholders, the event has been rescheduled to November 21st—a Saturday, and hopefully a date far enough out that it won’t be bothered by further COVID-19 disruptions.

The show is officially part of Chris Stapleton’s All-American Roadshow tour, with Willie Nelson and Family scheduled to play right before Stapleton, and Jamey Johnson and Yola opening up. All original tickets will be honored on the new date.

Along with this rescheduling, Stapleton has also rescheduled the two other dates that were postponed last week. His show at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum in Biloxi has been moved to September 5th, and the show with Jamey Johnson and Yola in Austin, TX at the Frank Erwin Center will be on November 19th.

At the moment, thinking about witnessing live music and honoring tour dates feels like a little bit of a pipe dream. But looking into the future is a great way to stay focused and hopeful for the future. Hopefully the Coronavirus subsides well before the fall. But if not, celebrating with Stapleton, Willie, Jamey Johnson, and Yola on stage would not be a bad way to get back to normal life.
