Clay Walker Recorded Berating His Tour Bus Driver

WARNING: Language
Country star Clay Walker has issued a statement through his publicist after audio surfaced of him heavily berating a bus driver. On Monday (3-6), Tik-Tok user “_i.am.brooke_” posted a minute-long video containing audio allegedly of Clay Walker heavily cussing his bus driver for being late and not cleaning the bus properly.
“I’m coming over here and I’m going to tell you something. I can whip your ass with one hand tied behind my back. Don’t say a fu**ing word,” Walker can be heard saying. “Tomorrow call your fu**ing boss and get me an experienced fu**ing driver out here because you are not that. And I’ve been trying to raise you up last night and you’re telling me I’m eating into your fu**ing drive time motherfu**er. You told me you’d be here at 10 fu**ing pm, you were not here you lying, c**t.”
Walker goes on to say, “So when I come out of that bathroom, get your ass ready to drive, and drive me smooth motherfu**er, or you’re going to regret it. All my shit is still fu**ing dirty back here. You know what? If you really wanted to fu**ing try and be part of this organization, you’d have found a fu**ing washing machine. You told him you cleaned this bus till 4…”
@_i.am.brooke_ TIKTOK THIS IS NOT ME BULLYING. We’re just outing someone who is. ❤️ I guess the Chain of Love ends with him after all…Share this to make sure it’s seen, and he doesn’t get away with this. #fyp #foryoupage #countrymusictiktok #viral #chainoflove #thenwhat #rumorhasit #thiswomanandthisman #ificouldmakealiving ♬ original sound – Brooke
Saving Country Music was not able to independently verify the audio, or the name of the bus driver. But after the audio was released and shared, Clay Walker responded through his publicist, saying “This happened over a year ago and it came at the end of a long, tough weekend. The bus driver and I reconciled immediately and we are friends and stay in touch.”
Clay Walker had not addressed the issue on on social media at the time of this post. Ironically, Walker has been experiencing a resurgence of interest by actively using the Tik-Tok app to connect with his fans. Actively promoting himself through the platform and promoting his fans to follow him on Tik-Tok in concert, it has been a major part of his marketing strategy.
A big star in the ’90s when he notched six #1’s, Walker was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 1996, which slowed his career. However, he continues to tour and record, and operates his own non-profit charity, Band Against MS.

Anyone who talks to an employee — or someone he perceives to be of a “lower station” — like that needs to have the shit beaten out of him.
I don’t care if it was a year ago, or if that POS has MS. He deserves an ass whipping. What a fucking dirtbag.
Fuck that guy.
March 7, 2023 @ 6:41 pm
Let’s not condone or incite violence. I agree it is completely out-of-bounds what Clay Walker did here, even without the rest of the context of the situation. Bus drivers in the music industry have incredibly taxing jobs, and all the folks behind-the-scenes in music should be lifted up, not cheapened like this. I also think that Clay Walker needs to issue an actual, public apology. But let’s not go overboard here.
March 7, 2023 @ 6:46 pm
I’m not inciting anything.
If he’d ever had a serious beating as a young man, or had parents who raised him worth a shit, he wouldn’t feel entitled to treat people this way.
He’s a POS.
March 8, 2023 @ 7:19 am
Actually, it’s probably just the opposite. People often repeat behaviors. Perhaps he acts this way because he DID have a serious beating as a young man. When people have lost power in that way, they often try to regain it by mimicking that behavior.
And lets stop blaming his parents for something he’s done as a 53 year old man. Seriously.
Don’t get me wrong, whatever the reason, his behavior was inexcusable.
March 9, 2023 @ 7:28 am
Somehow Mr Walker doesn’t look, or sound as good to me as he did before I read this article. Even if it is a year old. There are no excuses for bad manners. We have all had bad days. He’s just another prime example of a person in the spot light that thinks he is above everyone else.
March 7, 2023 @ 9:53 pm
Stop being such a pussy. Inciting.Let’s not go overboard here. 🙄
March 8, 2023 @ 3:43 am
Calling someone a “cunt” makes him sound like a hipster. If you’re going to berate someone, at least be original.
March 8, 2023 @ 9:44 am
My husband, the fbi guy, called me a stupid c*** one afternoon, because i Accidentally bumped the workbench when i pulled into the garage.
Might be a lot of things, but the c word, am not, let alone, stupid.
Naive sometimes, yes.
The minute those words came out of his mouth, he closed his eyes – tight.
Walked right up to him, and asked, Pardon me, did you just call me the “c” word? He said, sorry di, should never have said that.
Told him, Uh-huh … then calmly walked over, picked up a Louisville slugger, knocked his R/C red airplane off the wall, and took one more swing at it, thereby grounding it forever.
Handed him the baseball bat, and with a sweet smile told him, now i feel better.
Was a great story at the BBQ that night.
You want to be careful what you tell an Indian.
March 8, 2023 @ 8:15 am
If this happened a year ago and Clay already made up with the driver he doesn’t have to issue any kind of apology.
March 8, 2023 @ 8:32 am
Clay Walker has a reputation that precedes him, and that was the case way before this leaked audio. My guess is the reason the driver decided to hit record on his phone and lay it on the dash is he knew Clay was going to berate him, because Clay berates lots of people like this, and he’d experienced it before. This is country music, and folks want to think that the star standing at center stage is like them, and doesn’t act like a diva. Chewing out a driver, even if he make some mistake that led to it, was not the way to handle this properly. I’m supposed to trust the guy in the video’s word that he made up with the driver’s and their now “friends”? From a PR standpoint, I think it would behoove Clay Walker to address this publicly. To me, this is way worse than the Morgan Wallen situation. It just is. But of course, race isn’t involved, so the wider media is uninterested. But the country music public very much is, and this is not a good look for Clay. At all.
March 8, 2023 @ 11:39 am
I mean yes I get that. And I tend to think more PR and anything said from the stage is generally BS. (to varying degrees) I agree it’s not a good look for Clay in contrast with his squeaky clean image that he sells to fans, but if Hank Jr did this it wouldn’t be news. Where is the line? Is the issue with him using F words and the C word, or that he was angry? It’s funny to me that profanity, especially the F word has increasingly because more acceptable yet country music artists today are expected to be neutered metrosexuals in comparison to country artists of the past.
The Buddy Rich ranting tapes are legendary amongst musicians and even seeped into a Seinfeld episode.
March 8, 2023 @ 12:17 pm
Where’s the rolling eye emoji when you need it?
March 8, 2023 @ 4:35 pm
Trig,
I guess I shouldn’t be surprised that 30 or so people are so weak and emotionally feeble, that they think someone should be beaten for the words that come out of their mouth. I just assumed you had a more high-brow crowd on here. Unless Clay is a communist, he doesn’t deserve violence.
Where I do agree with Kevin though, is on the idea that childhood discipline tends to make better adults.
March 9, 2023 @ 8:14 am
I think you’ve both raised some points about the importance, and roll of discipline in development. And the effect it can have on developing adults. But I’m not entirely convinced that either of you are totally right.
Sure, tyrannical parents who enforce the rules through fear with the constant threat of them flying off the handle and becoming violent and destructive without proper communication, might send a message to people who want to be heard, and listen to, but the only way to get what they want is the similarly fly off the handle, and the person with the biggest meltdown is the alpha, might not be good for development.
Similarly, the person who tries to talk, everything out, without any meaningful rule of force, he’s just a pushover parent and the kid is going to more or less do what they want because eventually the parent caves in when they realize communication isn’t working.
As an example, I love my mother to death. My mother would do anything for me. Except listen to me.
We went, went to an event when I was a child, and a bunch of the other kids have gone out into the studio, and we’re warming up using all the equipment, and I didn’t think that they were supposed to be doing that because the staff and set up specifically. My mother told me to go and warm up like everybody else and I told her I thought we would get in trouble. She insisted, ultimately I had to do it, and sure enough the kids all got yelled at by the event organizers for going out and messing up the stuff they set up. My mother did not apologize or even admit that I was right.
Now put yourself in the perspective of an eight-year-old, who knew better than to do something, but who was forced to do something by someone who didn’t listen to them, and then couldn’t admit that the eight-year-old was right, and shouldn’t have gotten in trouble for being in that situation because they knew better than to be there in the first place. That’s very emotionally damaging.
I think about Andy Griffith a lot when the subject turns to parenting. In many respects sheriff, Andy was the model parent. He would talk things out with Opie first, and see if he was able to understand, and if he couldn’t help him understand, he asked Opie to trust him. I hope he always trusted him, because Andy never steered him wrong, and especially Andy always admitted when he made a mistake.
I think parents who fly off the handle, abuse, the disciplinary privilege, and especially use discipline to make their kids mind, even if the kids are right, or don’t understand what they did wrong, reinforces the survival of the strongest attitude that definitely makes people grow up to be adults who might try to negotiate through that same fear of a tantrum.
Force without communication is unhealthy, and probably borderline abusive in some situation. But communication without force is just an emotional plea. The communication is how developing children learn how to balance their emotions with the emotions and needs of the people around them, And the force is the physical instilling of boundaries
But one without the other rarely ever results in a healthy, emotionally sound, productive member of society
Growing up there was a kid I know whose parents were very communicative, but they didn’t have a whole Lotta force behind them. As a result, he was a completely nightmarish child because he knew that sooner or later his parents would cave in and that they didn’t have any Bite behind their bark. Monster is an understatement.
I also know somebody who’s parents were all bite and no bark, and he won’t talk to his parents as an adult because he’s already made up his mind that they’re not going to listen to anything he has to say anyway because they’ve already made up their mind about him, and all of his problems, and they don’t know the first thing about him. It’s really quite sad.
March 9, 2023 @ 4:31 pm
That photo looks like Alan Jackson NOT Clay Walker!
March 9, 2023 @ 4:51 pm
I, Trigger, the author of this article took that photo of Clay Walker about a month ago. I’ve seen a few other people say that it looks like Alan Jackson. I’m very sorry that it looks like Alan Jackson to you and others, but it’s not Alan Jackson. To be frank, I don’t think it looks like Alan Jackson at all. I’m not sure what else to say except to verify that it is indeed Clay Walker.
March 10, 2023 @ 5:29 am
Throughout all of human history, untill 10 min ago, it wasn’t considered going overboard to beat the shit out of someone who treated a person like that.
March 23, 2023 @ 11:56 am
Nah. Does look a little like a wannabe cowboy Jimmy McNulty, though. If you cast Dominic West as a washed-up douchebag 90s country star (maybe a Pure Country sequel), he’d have that look.
March 10, 2023 @ 5:53 am
Public apologies are the mose contrived and insincere way of getting off the hook. Read some bullshit that the studio or staff wrote. Virtue signal, complement yourself, something about growth, or learning….
I have wanted to cancel Clay Walker since the 90s, before cancelling was even a thing!
March 7, 2023 @ 6:37 pm
Was backstage at a Rodney Atkins, Aaron Tippin, Clay Walker show several years ago. Aaron Tippin sat and BS’d with us for 45 minutes. Walker didn’t leave his dressing room and nobody backstage has anything nice to say about him. This doesn’t shock me.
March 7, 2023 @ 8:22 pm
When I worked for Handleman, I worked 3 Walmart in-store events with Aaron Tippin (most for one artist). He was always gracious and friendly (and well built).
March 8, 2023 @ 11:50 am
I always heard Aaron Tippin was very personable. Happy to read these comments.
March 8, 2023 @ 3:27 pm
I thought Aaron Tippin’s first couple of CDs were fabulous with his unique, not-always-radio-friendly, contemporary-Hank-Williams voice on songs like “Blue Angel,” “I Wonder How Far It Is Over You” and “I Was Born With a Broken Heart.”
With Tippin, being ripped–in the sense of spending time at the gym, not in bars–was a major part of is persona. He did start to come off a bit goofy, and a self-parody with his “Honky Tonk Sumprman” muscle-flexing. But I think fitness-freak Tippin got the last laugh, especially when you see post 2010 videos of him and how he aged, compared to contmporaries/friends/rivals like Chesnutt, the Tracys–Lawrence and Byrd–and unfortunate early Covid victim Joe Diffie.
March 9, 2023 @ 2:06 pm
I logged onto my TikTok app this morning and the first video is of Aaron Tippin singing “My Blue Angel” on stage. It looks fairly recent. He’s slimmed down a ton, but looks great.
That’s crazy how I type something, then it shows on my my social medias. I fear for what Honky’s socials must look like because of all the crap he writes.
March 18, 2023 @ 2:40 am
Tippin found him some testosterone stacked with duel HGH enhancing peptides.. Good for Tippin.. I did the same starting last year
March 10, 2023 @ 6:24 am
Yes! Blue Angel is a great tune!! 😇
March 7, 2023 @ 7:14 pm
This is funny. Clay Walker trying to be all hard lol..Always seemed like pretty little guy to me, kinda surprised he didn’t get his teeth knocked out
March 7, 2023 @ 7:19 pm
Then again after watching the video, It sounds like he just watches too much Yellowstone 😅 😂
March 7, 2023 @ 7:19 pm
“I know what ‘clean’ is,
What’s it to you?”
March 8, 2023 @ 12:03 pm
This made me laugh out loud in the middle of a meeting.
March 7, 2023 @ 7:39 pm
Live, Laugh, Love… indeed
To quote one of his songs… “life can’t wait to kick you in the butt, Then what?”
Perhaps some anger management is in order?
March 7, 2023 @ 7:50 pm
“I can whip your ass with one hand tied behind my back.”
“Walker was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 1996”
Doesn’t seem like those two things add up. Either the bus driver was older and even more disabled or Walker hasn’t managed to break the habit of threatening in almost thirty years.
March 7, 2023 @ 8:03 pm
I don’t know how I’m gonna break it to my wife that Clay Walker is this much of a jerk. But this just ruined the music for me.
March 7, 2023 @ 8:16 pm
I came across this on TikTok this morning and just assumed the recording was thirty years old when Clay Walker was relevant (and maybe jacked up after a big show). To be this angry at 53 years old and decades removed from being prominent …. yikes. That’s sad.
March 7, 2023 @ 11:58 pm
I used to drive truck on the r&r side for 7 years.
Artists get cranky like we all will at times.
Probably don’t want to push a driver too far lest you might cancel a few shows while your nose heals…
I once heard the frontman, a notorious jerk, of Ministry threaten to crap in the bunk during a tiff with his driver on a major tour.
Ended up trashing the thing pretty good at the end.
March 8, 2023 @ 12:38 am
Was clay drinking? I do not know the situation, so I am not going to judge yet, he may have become bi polar since his illness, I know what Clay did was wrong, but he doesn’t seem to be the type of person who loses his cool like that, I don’t know the whole situation, so if he does have a mental disability, or a drinking problem, then I hope he gets help, or if he was just being a jerk.. then shame on him, I don’t know the whole story and will not make a final judgment until I get the whole story, either way I feel sorry for the bus driver and hope he is okay as well. I am not going to jump the gun, and start slamming clay, for something he may or may not be aware of. So I will wait for the whole story.
March 8, 2023 @ 12:51 am
Update.. here is the rest of the story, clay had been drinking, they settled it, people should get the rest of the story , before going off on clay, you should have done your home work, and printed the full story trigger, instead of printing a click Bait article, you should know better.
https://countrynow.com/clay-walker-issues-statement-after-profanity-laced-rant-on-tour-bus-driver-leaks-online/
March 8, 2023 @ 7:59 am
What are you talking about? I included Clay Walker’s statement in this story, and made reference to it in the first sentence. There’s nothing in this report you linked to that is not in this one.
March 8, 2023 @ 1:38 pm
Then why did you say clay should apologize? There friends again, so I guess that means He apologizes, and they made up, if you read the article, you should have known, he said he was drinking and if they are friends again, they CLAY MUST HAVE APOLOGIZED, SO your comment about clay should apologize is totally STUPID, so let’s see you talk your way out of this one, IF YOU READ THE WHOLE ARTICLE, you would have known. Why didn’t you say clay had been drinking? I notice you did not mention that in your click bait article, so yeah, I repeat, Next time tell the Whole story, make all the excuses you want, just admit your mistake and let’s move on shall we?
March 8, 2023 @ 2:31 pm
I didn’t say Clay should apologize in the article. I said that Clay should apologize in a comment. These are two separate things.
You implied that I did not include Clay Walker’s statement in the article. I did.
You say that the other article says that Clay Walker was “drinking.” The article says nothing of the sort. Again, some people have implied this in comments. Clay’s statement from the publicist doesn’t mention drinking at all.
“This happened over a year ago and it came at the end of a long, tough weekend. The bus driver and I reconciled immediately and we are friends and stay in touch.”
This is not a public apology. It is an explanation. These are two separate things.
I cannot verify that Clay Walker and the driver reconciled immediately. If they did, why was the audio leaked? I’m not saying that they didn’t reconcile. All I am saying is that this is not a good look for Clay Walker, and in my opinion, a more public apology to the bus driver would suit him better. That’s my opinion. I shared it in a comment.
This comment makes just about as much sense as your first comment with the link, which is none.
I’m more than willing to admit when I make mistakes, and do so when they happen. In this instance, you just have your wires crossed.
March 10, 2023 @ 6:44 pm
Chill out, Clay.
March 8, 2023 @ 11:34 am
Clay Walkers statement is 100% a PR statement, what did you expect him to say, you notice he didn’t say the guy is still working for me. These are rare situations where you get to see how someone really is and not the image they often try to portray.
March 9, 2023 @ 5:14 am
Going into 42yrs not a single instant of Strait being a diva, cheater, drunk etc gotta figure he’s the real deal
May 2, 2023 @ 7:48 am
It doesn’t say anything about him drinking ….
March 8, 2023 @ 2:54 am
I used to take long bus trips up to Northern Vermont in the middle of the winter with a ski club. For years we used the same driver who was a retired U.S. Marine. One time, the bus got stuck late at night in a rut in uneven ground during a snowstorm. It looked like we’d need to call a very big towtruck to pull it out, but the driver rocked it back and forth for 10 minutes and managed to get it out and back on the highway. I liked the fact that I could fall asleep in my seat in the dark night and not have to worry that the driver would fall asleep at the wheel or drive off the road and crash in snowy weather.
I can’t imagine why anyone would want to threaten and curse out and upset the guy who’s driving your long-distance bus. I mean he’s only got your life–and everyone else’s in the vehicle–in his hands–and feet. Just go on Youtube and you can find reams of videos of buses that missed turns, went off bridges and overpasses and cliffs, etc.
March 8, 2023 @ 6:46 am
I drive, and I know.. It’s not an uncommon theme in one way or another by some passengers for an “Entertainment Tour Bus Driver…….Keep in mind, it’s a 2 sided adventure, imagine trusting someone to drive you thru the night safely, someone you just met, because of contractual agreements made by others for you… Someone trust worthy enough to allow you to “smoke the days last cigarette remembering what you said”…sleep solid enough, wake up and sip your coffee, feel at home and to be able to give 100% at tomorrows performance. Someone who doesn’t drive like a trucker.. & Have someone who actually PERFORMS THEIR DUTIES TO THEIR PAY SCALE….. It’s a wacky business that “Entertainment Tour Bus Leasing Business” for sure, C. W. ⬆️⬆️ defiantly went to far…
March 8, 2023 @ 6:57 am
SCM: “I don’t want Clay Walker to get cancelled over this.
Also SCM: “I kinda want Clay Walker to get cancelled over this. MOM WHERE ARE MY HOT POCKETS.”
March 8, 2023 @ 8:06 am
Who said I wanted him “cancelled”? Who said I didn’t want him “cancelled”?. I reported what happened, and then when someone said he needs the shit beat out of him, I said that maybe that was going a little too far.
A lot of weird comments in this comments section.
March 8, 2023 @ 12:17 pm
It’s a strange time to report the news. Everyone is suspect, trying to find ulterior motives, and love to cry out “fake news” if it makes them uncomfortable. I bet if you wrote this as an editorial piece, you’d get less push back.
March 8, 2023 @ 7:24 am
Not sure if it’s a pattern (I know nothing about him), but everyone has bad days. I’ve acted this way before and felt terrible about it (not to an employee, but a fellow human being). We live in an age where every time someone acts up, someone wants to say ‘gotcha’ and release audio/video. I think we’ve all acted out of turn (regardless of who it is). Just think if you’re whole life was recorded and someone took 1 minute out of it and shared it.
March 8, 2023 @ 7:39 am
I have no idea who Clay Walker is, but if he and the bus driver reconciled, then I don’t see what the big deal is.
March 8, 2023 @ 12:07 pm
I heard they’re buying a summer home on Fire Island
March 8, 2023 @ 8:13 am
Driver should hit the breaks hard when he knows he’s using the bathroom,
March 9, 2023 @ 2:14 pm
Or do like Dave Matthews’ driver did and empty the tank over an open bridge.
March 8, 2023 @ 9:27 am
Almost all of us lose our temper at times and react in ways we wish we had not. It happened. It should not have but he is human. He and the bus driver have clear;y moved on.
March 8, 2023 @ 9:41 am
Well,I was a big Clay Walker fan in the nineties.I know he’s battled MS for years, but you don’t like to read of a star bullying an employee .Hopefully they’ve reconciled and Clay’s given him a raise .
March 8, 2023 @ 9:54 am
sounds like fckn Randy drivin that bus
March 8, 2023 @ 10:57 am
bruh he is looking like Alan Jackson on this photo you posted lol
March 10, 2023 @ 3:33 am
If by “looking like Alan Jackson” you mean, “that photo looks NOTHING like Alan Jackson,” then, yeah….
March 8, 2023 @ 11:52 am
I know a few of his singles but I’ve probably forgotten a dozen. I’m definitely not going to be looking for his music.
March 8, 2023 @ 3:20 pm
I don’t care if he was drinking or not. It’s all about respect and it goes both ways
March 13, 2023 @ 2:35 pm
Yeah. I drink too and have a tendency to get belligerent if in a stressful situation. Therefore, I keep my drinking limited to pleasant situations, such as up in the mountains on a fishing trip, at a nice city brewery, etc. I know better than to drink when I have to deal with people. No excuses for this. Sorry too. I came of age in the 90s watching CMT, and like probably most young men my age who liked country music, I thought Clay Walker was a real gentleman. Hope he’s okay and isn’t losing his mind. The last three years have been hard on most of us.
March 8, 2023 @ 4:29 pm
Am I the only one who thinks ” Drive Me Smooth Motherfu**er” sounds like a Florida Georgia Line song?
March 8, 2023 @ 5:32 pm
I’m only here to say, not that it matters, that I have negative interest in these kinds of articles. Consider this post a tiny data point in a poll. Pure preference.
March 8, 2023 @ 7:18 pm
I can’t believe my cousin works for him still. He is s jerk and shouldn’t talk to anybody like that.
March 9, 2023 @ 12:16 am
I remember his name but not his music. Must not be that good.
March 9, 2023 @ 3:37 am
I love Clay Walker even more now, no one should have to put up with bad service but that’s the quality these days.
March 9, 2023 @ 8:19 am
The bad quality is always indicative of bad management on behalf of the person doing the work. Usually that’s because management caves into the client or customer at the expense of the people who actually have to do the work. This is White in retail, so many customers have been conditioned to think that they can get what they want out of place is a business if they throw a big enough tantrum because people will give them what they want just to not have to deal with them any longer. Weak management caves in on these things because they want to keep as many customers happy as possible. The result is employees that don’t care about anything anymore, because their whole ambition in the workplace Shift from doing quality work, to doing as little as possible to get the management, angry at them, while doing as much as possible, to avoid being in situations that cause friction.
The establishment that have the best employee retention rate and the best customer satisfaction or the places that have a zero bullshit policy for dealing with rude and inappropriate customers. When employees know that management has their back and won’t let people break them for things beyond their control, they are empowered to do a better job, and they know that management won’t throw them under the bus. The minute Karin decides her expired Coupon is worth its weight in gold.
Basically, if you want service to improve in any industry, you have to start by empowering all businesses to not interact with socially maladjusted customers who use tantrums to get what they want. Once that happens, employees can excel in their field, without fear of constantly appraisal from management pandering to every person who gets a bug up their bump Trying to save six nickels on a dollar
But an easier way to express that whole paragraph, is that you’re probably the kind of person who thinks no one should get more than five dollars an hour at McDonald’s, and that the minute you set foot in the store everyone should worship you because you decided to bless them by going shopping
March 9, 2023 @ 6:50 am
I’ve met Clay years ago at a meet and greet. He wasn’t nice. Clay was only nice to certain people. He would hug and talk with certain people but then not even say hello to others. I wasn’t expecting a hug or conversation but least say hello or thanks for coming. I live in a city that Clay considered home for years. He no longer shows support for the city and state that he said he loved and called home for most of his life.
March 10, 2023 @ 5:44 am
His song “Then What” with the steel drums and Neal McCoy’s contributions are some of the worst of the 90’s. The city of Cody ,Wy has a story of him throwing a tantrum at a charity event. Was the only paid performer, he eventually returned the money, and the city bid him good riddance. This fair-circuit jackass karaoke singer should be thankful that anyone wants anything from him.
March 13, 2023 @ 2:39 pm
You Wyoming people do not suffer fools. I’m stuck in Denver with angry Subaru drivers and city doodlers but would love to be up in Albany County.
March 9, 2023 @ 8:23 am
Sad thing about this story is, that wasn’t his driver and Clay wasn’t even on tour.
March 9, 2023 @ 10:59 am
I mean Clay kinda has a history of being a dick, can’t say I’m shocked by this
March 18, 2023 @ 2:33 am
As a Texans fan here in Houston, I know many around here had enough of Clay Walker being the front man for anything Texans branding involving Clay singing some cheese willie Texans themed country song. Cal McNair is a close friend is why. I know a few roadies in Austin that worked for multiple artist/band teams from Randy Rogers to Turnpike, they both said Clay Walker is a solid gold douche canoe and for some reasons that Clay will never want to be leaked out. Clay better have a coming to Jesus meeting with himself or his skeletons will bubble up to the surface.

I was really disappointed to hear this about Clay Walker. I’ve always enjoyed his voice and music, but now that I know what kind of human he is, it will never be the same for me. That was certainly no apology and I highly doubt that he and this driver are “friends”. I don’t care who you are, you don’t talk (yell) at people that way. I can only imagine what he’s like at home.
