Done with Navy Commitments, Zach Bryan Hits the Road Full Time

Ever since Zach Bryan’s music surprisingly caught fire in the summer of 2019 after recording a homespun album with a bunch of buddies in an AIRBNB, the Oklahoma native has tried to juggle pursuing a musical career with honoring his commitments as a full-time enlisted man in the United States Navy. Even as his songs and name recognition spiked, his commitment to the Navy remained steadfast, and Zach played shows and recorded new videos and albums when he could between daily responsibilities and deployments.

Part of what made Zach Bryan’s story and career so intriguing was how it all blossomed while he was still in the military. That will remain an integral part of his narrative moving forward. But Saving Country Music has confirmed that at this point, Zach Bryan has left the Navy to pursue music full-time—an eventuality that it felt like was only a matter of time before it happened due to the rabid appeal for his music, both live and recorded.

Now without the worry of deployments and daily duties, Zach Bryan is able to tour at will, and recently released a slew of dates for late October and November for a tour he’s calling “Ain’t for Tamin'”. Taking him throughout the Midwest and eventually down to Houston, you can expect venues packed to the gills, with throngs of people singing every single word to Zach Bryan’s earnest, but infectious songs.

And don’t worry if you don’t see a date near you. Now that Zach Bryan is a free agent, expect more dates to be added in the future. Also expect many dates to sell out, so stay on your toes. If you want to know what to expect from a Zach Bryan show, you can check out Saving Country Music’s recent live review.

Zach Bryan also might be preparing to release a new album in the not too distant future, Tweeting recently, “Holy damn fire I’m excited to put out a record.”
