Independent Film, Macabre Art, and a Son of a Son

Judd Films and Neltner Creative make up what you could call Hank III’s Creative Department.

If you don’t know about them, you should check them out.

Judd Films:

This is Blake Judd and Keith Neltner hanging out on the stage of the Opry mother church. Judd films from Kentucky is a huge supporter of Hank III, AND the Reinstate Hank movement. Right now they are working on an untitled Hank III documentary, and they shot the video for ‘Long Hauls and Close Calls’ at the muddin’ event back in the Spring. They’ve also worked with other artists like The Legendary Shack Shakers, Tonya Watts, and they also filmed Hank III’s heavy metal side project Arson Anthem.

It’s cool that independent film is supporting Hank III, because Hank III has supported independent film over and over as we’ve seen, like with the Swedish Documentary or It Came From Trafalgar . Shit, I could probably put a whole blog together of Hank III’s indie film stuff.

And one of the best things about Judd Films is they are helping to run the point on the Reinstate Hank campaign. A lot of the rallies that have happened so far have been coordinated by Judd Films, and right now they are working on a documentary:

So let’s support these people, and you can add them on MySpace HERE (last name is Judd).

Neltner Creative:

The person that made the logo for the Judd Films Reinstate Hank documentary, and the person that makes Hank III’s album covers and tour posters is Keith Neltner of Neltner Creative, also from Kentucky. The new design for hank3.com was from a 3 part poster collection from last year’s tour:

Keith is amazing at capturing the themes of Hank III’s blend of country and metal. Also working with his brother he does photography, like the cover for this month’s Metal Farm Magazine featuring none other than Hank III.

On neltnercreative.com you can check out all of Keith’s work, and BUY old Hank III tour posters, some that are signed and numbered in limited quantities. You can also add Neltner on MySpace HERE. And as you can see from the Reinstate Hank poster, Keith is an assistant director on that project too.

And let’s not forget Mike (Helldorado) who does a hell of a job operating hank3.com and the Reinstate Hank sites.

So let’s support the people that support Shelton and the Reinstate Hank movement.
