Jamey Johnson Readies Sirius XM Outlaw Tour w/ Kelsey Waldon, Erin Enderlin

Jamey Johnson will be heading out on a tour staring February 1st sponsored by SiriusXM Outlaw Country, and select dates will feature a couple of worthy openers. The 24 dates are part of a total 38 dates Jamey Johnson has planned for 2019 so far that will take him through the South, Midwest, Texas, and out to the West Coast this year.

Joining Jamey Johnson on tour on select dates will be Kelsey Waldon. Her 2016 effort, I’ve Got A Way was a slyly thematic work that found Waldon asserting her own identity and freedom in a world that constantly is attempting to reshape and sway her towards its own image and desires. Waldon is originally from Monkey’s Eyebrow, Kentucky. Yes, it’s a real place in the western part of the state, near the Ohio River. Kelsey’s family farmed tobacco and raised cattle, and the stories of struggle from of America’s rural heartland still drip from her songs.

Erin Enderlin will also be joining Jamey Johnson for select dates. She is the highly acclaimed songwriter behind songs like “Monday Morning Church” by Alan Jackson, “Last Call” by Lee Ann Womack, and a number of other songs from Randy Travis, Terri Clark, Joey + Rory and Tyler Farr among others. Her 2013 debut album, I Let Her Talk was about emotional reactions to traditional country themes of cheating, love, alcohol, and loss. Her most recent project, a concept album titled Whiskeytown Crier from 2017, was produced by Jamey Johnson.

Another big note from the tour dates is a show Jamey Johnson will play with Cody Jinks at the Von Braun Center in Huntsville, AL on February 28. Find all the dates below.
