New Dates & New Downloads (Get Some!)
Alright so recently we’ve had a ton of new concert dates released, as well as albums that people have been wondering when they will go digital, go digital, as well as other interesting album news and tidbits. So in no sexy delivery, her’s all the info:
ALL THREE of Lucky Tubb’s great albums have finally been released digitally by Lone Star Music, including his often forgotten first offering Generations. You can download the albums and listen to previews of every song by CLICKING HERE.
Also Jayke Orvis’s new album It’s All Been Said was just made available for download. So those of you having Farmageddon paypal problems can try that route. Or you can continue to email me incessantly about a problem I have no control over, over and over again and see if that works. (Read my review of the album HERE.)
And speaking of downloads (smmoooth segway), for a limited time you can download Th’ Legendary Shack Shakers new album Agridustrial for only 5 smackers by CLICKING HERE. (Read my review HERE.)
And speaking of The Shack Shakers (smmoother segway), it has just been announced they will be touring with Bob Wayne come spooky Rocktober, as Wayne supports his new album entitled Outlaw Carnie due out 10/26 from Century Media. You can find those and ALL relevant Saving Country Music dates at savingcountrymusic.com/calendar.
Hank III has added a few new dates as well.
And if you’re poor as pork and need a music experience of the free persuasion, head on over to IBWIP or Nine Bullets for their spanking new podcasts.
OK I guess that’s it for now. As you were.

Hey Triggerman, I’ve been having trouble with the Farmageddon website. Is there something wrong with their Paypal?
PS remember with Paypal you only need the persons email address and you can action a manual payment that way. I had the same trouble when I was trying to get an album from .357 String Band and just did it that way, and also when I got the Outlaw Comp Vol. 1 from Jahshie I did a manual transaction also. Easy peasy.

Want to run my help desk Carla?
Carla

Sure! All you ever have to say is “Have you tried rebooting?”. That’s all I ever get when I call up any old helpdesk. No wait, don’t you have to be in Indian or Bangladesh these days to run a help desk???

Man I nearly lost my job once cause the company was considering outsourcing. Can’t blame those folks for takin jobs that are offered to em. Cheap labor is cheap labor, it’s the fuckers here that are making money off manipulating people that’s helping the unemployment rate soar.

Thanks Triggerman for all the info!
I noticed a date change on the III site for the NY State gig (works out better for me so I’m psyched-er!) You might want to make super sure your date’s the date.

Yeah Gillian I need to change that one and ad the new dates for III. When in doubt, always refer to the artist’s page.

NLindsay, I saw a documentary once about that – about all those service desk jobs that are being outsourced to non-english speaking nations. For some of those big American companies the people sit in their little cubicles in India, plastered with posters of Madonna and Micheal Jackson and even adopt fake All-American sounding names. Most strange. Don’t worry it’s happening here too – I live in New Zealand and when I ring up my bank I get diverted to some random in Bangladesh who can’t understand my accent. Haha!

My Aunts who speak spanish, joke that they push ‘2’ (for spanish reps)when talking to help desks. they can understand the spanish speaking people but not the mid easterners.
