Saving Country Music’s 2018 Halloween Playlist

On the dark side of country and roots lurks some the most creative and disturbing expressions and stories ever written into song. From murder ballads to ghost stories, to tales of struggle and lunacy, Gothic country and dark roots never get their full due, nor do the denizens of these art forms who help keep these traditions alive all year.

But come October, it’s the perfect time to focus in on the many bands, artists, and songs that specialize in the dark side of country, as well as some of the most iconic songs from country music’s haunted past. This year Saving Country Music has dramatically expanded the playlist to include 50 songs that will be perfect for October listening, or your Halloween party.

The Saving Country Music 2018 Halloween Playlist can be heard on Spotify (or below in the embedded player), as well as on Google Play, and on Apple Music thanks to Country Exclusive. You can also Follow Saving Country Music on Spotify.
