Remember a couple of weeks back when the 85-year-old Willie Nelson had the runs so bad he couldn’t perform in Charlotte? They’ve announced additional performers for the makeup date, and all of a sudden what was supposed to be a simple makeup performance for Willie has turned into a pretty badass show all unto itself.
Willie Nelson’s appearance at the Outlaw Music Festival on Saturday (5-25) at the PNC Music Pavilion in Charlotte, North Carolina was abruptly cancelled after Willie was unwilling or unable to perform. According to concertgoers, Willie Nelson walked out on stage twice, but never sang or played.
The hottest commodity in country music right now was performing at the PNC Music Pavilion in Charlotte, NC on Thursday night (5-29) when he took a step too many towards the edge of the stage and tumbled down a good five to six feet into the pit between crowd barrier and the stage. The fall resulted in an injury that Bryan elucidated to his fans resulted in “a few stitches” on his leg.
