It’s always great to see the legends of country music’s past being paid tribute. That’s what will happen on March 30th at the Mother Church of Country Music as a host of performers are coming together to honor Tammy Wynette.
George Jones and Tammy Wynette were two of the best to ever do it—divorce songs, and country music in general. So it should be of no surprise that Mr. and Mrs. Country Music would themselves get married, and eventually, divorce.
Scheduled to perform at the tribute are Jamey Johnson, William Michael Morgan, The Gatlin Brothers, Georgette Jones, Chris Janson, Johnny PayCheck’s son and fellow performer John PayCheck, and Jesse Keith Whitley.
