Not every season of Austin City Limits these days is worth stopping down for, or has such close ties to the country and roots scene like it did back in the program’s heyday. But the first portion of Season 47 sure does. Set to premier on Saturday, October 2nd.

After blowing minds all across the country and world, becoming one of the big winners of the last year with his frequent live stream performances, and earning a Grammy for Best Bluegrass album a few months ago, Billy Strings is being tapped to make his debut on Austin City Limits.
Grammy-nominated country music songwriter and performer Brent Cobb will be touring extensively once again in 2020, and he’ll start by stripping it all down and performing his much-beloved songs in seated, intimate venues this winter in a tour being called, “A Night of Fine Acoustic Country Music with Brent Cobb.”
Swedish Sister Duo First Aid Kit will be making their way to the United States and parts of Europe as part of the extensive Rebel Heart Tour in 2018. The sisters will be in the United States in June, and then again in September through October. In July and August they will be touring in Europe.
