Mike and the Moonpies are bar none the best country music band out there at the moment, and recently tied for 1st in Saving Country Music’s rundown of the Best Live Performers in 2019. Quaker City Night Hawks
Drummer Aaron Haynes of the Ft. Worth-based Quaker City Night Hawks offered a lengthy apology early Tuesday (9-17) afternoon for his conduct at AmericanaFest last week where he berated the sound man working one of the band’s shows, and eventually punched and shoved employees of the venue, and threw parts of his drum set across the stage.
I don’t give a damn who you voted for, if Blackberry Smoke is rolling through your town, pony up for a baby sitter, save up a sick day from work, and get your ass to the venue. The Southern rocks gods have just released the dates for the second leg of their “Find a Light” tour.
