Tyler Childers Maps Out Tour Schedule for Early 2018

Saving Country Music’s reigning Album of the Year winner Tyler Childers will be hitting the road hard and heavy in the first part of 2018 behind his award-winning record Purgatory, including some stops on some big stages, marquee performances at major festivals, and many other dates coast to coast in between.

The Stagecoach Festival in California, The Bonnaroo Festival in Tennessee, and the Blue Ox Festival in Wisconsin will all be graced by Tyler’s presence this summer, with Childers headlining this year’s Stagecoach Spotlight tour ahead of the fest in late April with Lillie Mae, and select dates with Lukas Nelson and Promise of the Real. Don’t be surprised if some more high-profile festival dates don’t pop up for Childers in the coming days as well.

Tyler Childers will also be opening two sold out shows in front of Margo Price at the Ryman Auditorium, a few select shows with John Prine, and he will have a big opportunity to play the historic Floore’s Country Store near San Antonio with the Turnpike Troubadours and Charley Crockett in April.

Country music is music from the people of the country, and that’s what you get with Tyler Childers. Within the songwriting and the music is a rawness and honesty often not welcome in the mainstream, even though an appetite for the type of soul Tyler Childers captures is widespread.

Some stops are already sold out, so don’t sit on these dates.
