Tyler Childers Releases New Tour Dates Amid Rising Demand & Sold-Out Shows

Don’t look now, but reigning Saving Country Music Album of the Year winner Tyler Childers is beginning to blow up as a live act. He’s starting to sell out larger venues across the country, and folks are remarking on the swelling numbers they’re seeing at his shows. Two night stints at the Manchester Music Hall and Headliners Music Hall in Kentucky have been sold to capacity, as have his two shows coming up the first weekend of June in North Carolina, and both of Tyler’s shows coming up in Texas in July.

After the response to the Sturgill Simpson-produced record Purgatory, it’s all beginning to fall into place for the Kentucky-based songwriter. To meet demand, Tyler Childers has just released a new batch of tour dates, which include a couple of junkets over the Canadian border, and a run up the West Coast for those who’ve been bellyaching for it.

Tyler is also playing the Tumbleweed Festival, and the Blue Ox Festival, Newport Folk Fest, Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, taking a run over to Sweden, and all kinds of other stuff during his busy 2018 schedule. He’s going to be all over the place, but you may want to get on dates early before they sell out, and before he gets so big you miss your chance to see him in an intimate setting.
