Tyler Childers Tour Dates Selling Out As Fast As They’re Added

Not since the emergence of Sturgill Simpson have we seen an independent country artist explode in popularity the way we’re witnessing Tyler Childers do at the moment. As new tour dates continue to be added, many are selling out immediately, while other dates in other venues and markets are being added to meet demand, and some stops upgraded to bigger places to accommodate fans.

Recently announced multi-night stops at the Exit/In in Nashville and Gruene Hall in Texas have already sold out, as have two nights at separate venues in Atlanta, Cain’s Ballroom in Tulsa, as well as shows on the West Coast, in Canada, the Midwest, and parts in between. If you don’t have tickets for a show in your area, get them now because it’s likely to sell out. This also may be your last opportunity to see Tyler Childers in a smaller venue. Over half of his currently-announced North American tour dates are sold out. There’s a 17-night run in his current schedule where all nights are sold out aside from 2 nights just added, which will probably sell out soon.

Tyler Childers released his latest album Purgatory produced by Sturgill Simpson in August of 2017 to high praise, including being named the Saving Country Music Album of the Year. Since then the steam behind his ascent has only increased, prompting Childers to be nominated for Emerging Artist of the Year at the upcoming Americana Music Awards in September.
