Zach Bryan Puts Money Where His Mouth Is For “Burn, Burn, Burn” Tour

There’s talk, and then there’s action. Zach Bryan has made a lot of noise about how he’s tired of seeing his hard-working fans get filched by the ticketing monopoly that is TicketBastard, and promised a few weeks ago upon the release of his live Red Rocks album All My Homies Hate Ticketmaster that he would actively work to buck the system. Well now he’s laid out his plans, and the tour dates they will impact.

In a glorious fashion, Zach Bryan released a video Thursday (1-19) starring redneck comic Theo Von and his mullet, explaining how everything is going to go down. This includes that tickets will start at $40, and won’t be more expensive than $130 for the most premium seats. Service fees will only be between $10 to $20.

AXS is the company that will be facilitating the ticket sales, and no tickets will be able to be resold for profit. They also promise to scrub all sales from scalpers and bots through the process. If the purchaser needs to resell their tickets, they can only do so through the AXS system, and they can only be sold at the original ticket price. There will also be a 4-ticket limit for each individual purchase, and a 2-ticket limit at Red Rocks. Any tickets seen on any other platform should be considered fraudulent.

Though all of this is great, fans still need to understand that there will be a finite amount of tickets, and being able to purchase these tickets is not guaranteed. Registered fans will be randomly selected for the chance to purchase tickets to each show. If selected, they will begin receiving emails on February 13th with purchase information. Fans must register at www.axs.com/zachbryan for the opportunity to purchase tickets.

These rules only apply to Zach Bryan headlining shows that allow the AXS ticketing format, so a few venues will be excluded, as well as festival and rodeo appearances.

Looking over the dates, there are a lot of arenas on this tour, with Red Rocks being one of the smaller venues. If you wanted to see Zach Bryan in a smaller venue, you had your chance over the last few years. Now, supply is such that there’s no other choice, but these larger venues should allow for more fans to gain access to the Zach Bryan live experience.

Don’t be surprised if additional dates are added at certain venues if demand outpaces supply. This very well could happen, because Zach Bryan’s popularity only continues to increase.

A few weeks ago Zach Bryan reached another landmark as “Something In The Orange” officially became a #1 song on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. The track had hit #1 multiple times on the Country Top Streaming Songs previously. Then this week, “Something In The Orange” made its debut in the Top 10 of the all genre Billboard Hot 100. That’s right, Zach Bryan isn’t just one of the most popular artists in all of country, he’s now one of the most popular artists in all of music.

By implementing this ticketing plan, Zach Bryan is taking a leadership position in tackling the Ticketmaster monopoly. What he is doing is unprecedented, but fans should also understand that there may be some bumps in the road, and there’s still no guarantee they will get tickets. But clearly Zach Bryan isn’t just talking about taking on Ticketmaster, he’s trying to create a template that perhaps other artists in the future can also use to circumvent the monopoly.
