Sierra Ferrell is as fantastic as some fictional character. Her talent is other-worldly. Her command of her music is incomparable. Her cranium sprouts a unique flower crown cornucopia each time she appears in public. And when she sings, you’re transported to an entirely different space and time.
When Sierra Ferrell announced her 2023 Spring tour last fall, you were warned then that most or all of these dates would sell out, and immediately. Lo and behold, that prediction came true (see below), and so to meet demand, Sierra has released a slew of more dates stretching into the summer to go with multiple major festival appearances.
Not only is Sierra Ferrell one of the best artists to see live at the moment, she has also booked some of the greatest places to see live music as part of this tour. From the legendary Gruene Hall in Texas and Cain’s Ballroom in Tulsa, to the Georgia Theatre in Athens to The Fillmore in San Francisco, these are the kinds of venues it’s always worth finding an excuse to frequent. Cain’s in Tulsa is one of the few dates left early in the tour with tickets still available.
Even better, Sierra Ferrell is bringing along a spirited list of openers for this tour that includes Jaime Wyatt, Willi Carlisle, The Cactus Blossoms, and Jermie Albino on select dates. Each of these artists are worth seeing all by themselves.
This all goes along with big festival appearances at the Telluride Bluegrass Festival, The sold out Railbird Festival, the Stagecoach Festival in California, The Green River Festival, and more.
For the new dates, “Artist Pre-sale” begins Tuesday, February 14th at 10 AM local and ends Thursday, February 16th at 10 PM local. Sign up for pre-sale at THIS LINK. Public On-sale: Friday, February 17 at 10 AM local.

I hate it when up and coming artists use Stagecoach as their SoCal tour stop. Everybody else gets to see her in a small venue. I’m not a festival guy and I’m sure not gonna drop $500 to walk around in the heat and dust to see a handful of independent artists play a 20 minute set.
I’m in the Des Moines area. Tried to buy a ticket to her show Wooly’s three months in advance, but they were sold out. So…roadtrip to Indy instead! Long drive but can’t pass up the opportunity to see her while she’s still playing smaller venues.

She is easily my favorite female singer out there today. Can’t wait to see her again here in New Orleans at Tipitina’s next month.

That feeling when you already got tickets to see her a few hours from where you live and then find out she’s coming to your town too!

How is the Big Top venue? I saw that Charlie Crockett was up there last year.
