The Wilder Blue Just Leveled Up in a Big Way

If you know about the Texas music supergroup The Wilder Blue, chances are you’re a big fan. And if you’re a Wilder Blue fan, chances are you might be a little frustrated and perplexed why there aren’t more Wilder Blue fans out there, and why their undeniable talent hasn’t rocketed them to the front of the line in country music.

Well all of that might be changing soon, and in a big way. Yes, the band is set to open multiple stadium dates for Luke Combs this summer. Luke Combs appeared on their last album via a cover of “Seven Bridges Road,” and that should be a massive opportunity for them. But ahead of all this, they’ve also just signed big new management and booking deals.

Frontman and songwriter Zane Williams, lead guitarist Paul Eason, bassist Sean Rodriguez, multi-instrumentalist Andy Rogers, and drummer Lyndon Hughes have just signed with the massive company WME for global representation. This should give the band more major opportunities to appear on bigger festivals and important opening gigs, as well as hopefully securing bigger and better venues for headlining shows moving forward.

The have also signed a dual management deal with the companies Make Wake Artists and Deep Roots Management, represented by Chris Kappy and Dylan Wright respectively.

“Combining talents and working together is how The Wilder Blue got to where we are,” Zane Williams said in a statement. “Adding the talented folks at Make Wake Artists and WME to our team is the perfect opportunity to take us even farther and we are pumped to take this journey together.”

The Wilder Blue’s songwriting, musicianship, and their five-part harmonies have made them one of the most beloved bands in all of roots music over the last few years. Wanting to keep most everything in-house has kept them grounded and real as the band found its feet. But now it’s clearly an opportunity to level up, and that’s exactly what they’re doing.

And make no mistake, the presence of Luke Combs as a fan has helped facilitate all of this. Combs found out about The Wilder Blue (previously called Hill Country) right here on Saving Country Music.

You can find The Wilder Blue’s 2024 tour dates below. It might be a good idea to see them in smaller venues while you still can.
