With headliners Eilen Jewell, Caleb Klauder Country Band, and Petunia and The Vipers, the event boasted their biggest attendance numbers to date, and proved that independent country and roots music is most certainly still alive on the West Coast.

The West Coast Country Music Festival, like many small festivals all across the country, shows that family over fame creates the greatest environment to share and enjoy music, and the funds and awareness raised through the event will help ensure the next generation will be able to share in those joys as well.
As the emphasis on education continues to focus more on math and science, music education and artistic funding is virtually disappearing from the public curriculum. One organization based out of southern Oregon is looking to do something about it by stepping up to fill the gap.
